Is sponsorship a dirty word?

Jun 07, 2007 (Ad News - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian corporate sponsors spend an annual average of $A2.5 million. However, according to the Australasian Sponsorship Marketing Association's David Fleming, there is still no effective way of measuring the return-on-investment of sponsorships. Sponsorship is also limited by the perception that it sits best with sporting groups. Clear sponsorship strategies and knowing the audience are two major elements that need to be considered in sponsorship arrangements.
