Latest crop gives Apple 27pc boost.

Jun 07, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The profit of Apple Computer Australia was increased by new products in 2006. It has reported revenue of $A717.34 million for the year to 30 September 2006, a rise of 27.37 per cent. Net profit increased by 57.3 per cent to $A16.15 million. Apple's global results were equally good, and the March quarter of 2007 has been its most profitable March quarter ever. The good results are attributed to new products. It is estimated that over 2.4 million devices were sold in Australia in the year to April 2007, a rise of 16 per cent.
