ACCC recommends consumer policy changes.

Jun 08, 2007 (Inside Retailing - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian competition regulator has suggested improvements to consumer protection. A submission by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission recommended some refinements to improve the consumer protection framework. These included civil pecuniary penalties, banning orders for breaches, uniform laws across Australia, and greater co-operation between agencies.
