Finsia sale fuels industry damage fears.

Jun 15, 2007 (Independent Financial Adviser - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Practitioners, members and students of Financial Services Institute of Australasia (Finsia) have expressed their opposition to the sale of the institute. Finsia members have been asked to vote on the sale of its education business to US-based Kaplan in a $A36 million deal. Finsia president Michael Shepherd defended the deal, saying that Kaplan is a global educator, committed to running educational courses of high quality.
