Jun 18, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Steven Boulton has quit as CEO of Babcock & Brown Infrastructure Group (BBI). He has taken a new position as head of rival Westpac Banking's Hastings Funds Management. The change, announced on 18 June 2007, comes as BBI prepares for restructuring $A8bn worth of assets from Western Australian utility Alinta. Boulton said the new job offered him greater breadth. He had been CEO of Powerco when BBI acquired it in 2004. His two years as head of BBI were marked by aggressive acquisitions.
