CPD: what counts.
Australasian Business Intelligence, June, 2007
Jun 18, 2007 (Financial Planning - ABIX via COMTEX) -- All members of Australia's Financial Planning Association (FPA) have an obligation to participate in continuing professional development (CPD) programs. The FPA provides an accreditation service to training program providers. In order for a training program to be accredited by the FPA, CPD activities need to: have clearly identified aims and structure; be developed by qualified instructional designers; be well structured; have content that is current and up-to-date; have content that contributes to the financial planner's knowledge and skills; and provide Certificate of Completion/Attendance of the program to participants.
