Tunnel owners advised to lower the toll.

Jun 20, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The New South Wales (NSW) Government wants tolls on the Cross City Tunnel to be reduced. ABN Amro and a Leighton Holdings group have paid nearly $A700 million for the financially-troubled Sydney toll road. On 20 June 2007, NSW Premier Morris Iemma said that the business would benefit from a new approach and reducing the toll would be a sign of goodwill to motorists.
