Jun 21, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Google subsidiary, YouTube, has confiscated the www.youtube.com.au version of its internet domain name. The entrepreneurial student, Aaron Johnson, who registered it some time ago believes that the .au Domain Administration (auDA) should permit the sale of domain names, but there are mixed thoughts on the idea. YouTube registered its trademark in Australia in 2006 and considers domain names its intellectual property.
