How Williams keeps Foxtel's competitive edge.

Jun 24, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Rumours are circulating that Foxtel CEO Kim Williams may soon be appointed as CEO of Sky Italia. However, Williams says he has no plans to depart and that he hopes to take Foxtel "to the next stage". He says the next few years will prove to be the period in which the Australian pay-TV group really delivers for consumers. Williams has achieved much during his tenure, brokering a content-sharing deal with Singtel Optus, negotiating supply deals with Hollywood studios and more recently securing broadcast rights to Australian Football League matches.
