Australasian Business Intelligence, June, 2007

Jun 24, 2007 (Discrimination Alert - ABIX via COMTEX) -- McDonald's will launch a pilot of an indigenous recruitment program in Darwin in July 2007. The fast food chain aims to recruit 1,000 indigenous Australians via the initiative. The recruitment scheme is being co-ordinated by Indigenous Success Australia (ISA), a consultancy that has also recruited indigenous staff on behalf of Woolworths. ISA's Ian Martin says the group has been contacted by St George Bank and Bendigo Bank in the past month, and also has contracts with companies such as Fairfax Media, Cement Australia and AGL.
