Things better and worse at Coke.

Australasian Business Intelligence, June, 2007

Jun 27, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) shares fell $A0.19 to $A9.08 on 27 June 2007. The decline came as the group confirmed that it has postponed the divestiture of its South Korean bottling operations. Analysts have expressed concern that the poor performance of that business could potentially prevent CCA from achieving a price equivalent to its $A700 million book value. LG Household & Healthcare and SPC Group are the two preferred bidders. Meanwhile, CCA has upgraded its first-half earnings guidance. The beverages group anticipates that it will achieve earnings growth of at least 10 per cent.
