Foxtel programming goes Hollywood.

Jul 01, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian pay-TV operator, Foxtel, will have new US TV programs under a new deal. The deal was made in May 2006 and took effect in June 2007. Under the agreement, Foxtel and Ten Network share the rights to new series from 20th Century Fox. The two Australian companies will pay an estimated $A50 million a year. The deal gives each exclusive rights for about a year to the programs that they select, then the rights revert to the other party for a year. After another year, they both have access to the programs.
