Jul 10, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Wesfarmers has taken out full-page advertisements in Australia's major daily newspapers to encourage Coles shareholders to accept its takeover offer. The ads, on 11 July 2007, emphasise Wesfarmers' retail credentials as operator of the successful Bunnings hardware stores chain.
