United pays $477m for property services player.

Jul 11, 2007 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- United has acquired US property services company Unicco Service for $A477m. The Australian engineering and services group also announced it expects net profit for 2006-07 to exceed $A90m, which would be 14 higher than the previous year's result. United anticipates its strong growth to continue in 2007-08. Unicco is based in Boston and provides property maintenance services to corporations including Miami International Airport, Bank of America and Simon Property, as well as a number of universities.
