Jul 11, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian meat industry has questioned comments by Woolworths CEO Michael Luscombe regarding price increases. Luscombe's recent warnings that meat prices would rise as a result of the drought have been rejected by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), which claims that there is an adequate supply of meat to meet demand.
