Intel chips in on One Laptop per Child world project.

Jul 16, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Global computer giant Intel has joined the One Laptop per Child project. The project aims to give poor children around the world access to laptops for educational purposes. Intel has joined the board of the project, and is working on incorporating its technologies with the XO multimedia laptop developed by the founders of the project. The project's president Walter Bender has revealed that the foundation is in talks with other computer groups.
