May 19, 2009 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Outgoing Telstra CEO, Sol Trujillo, left Australia on 14 May 2009, despite having promised to oversee incoming CEO David Thodey's transition. A farewell party was held for Trujillo on 12 May 2009, although Telstra did not tell the market of his departure until 19 May.
