May 20, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Growthpoint Properties and Sekisui House moved to capitalise on Australia's economic misfortune in May 2009 with the purchase of substantial landholdings. Sekisui's Australian president, Toru Abe, said the local residential market appeared to harbour strong growth potential, with the country's population remaining stable and the residential real estate sector undersupplied.
