May 21, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Speculation persists that Independent News & Media (INM) may opt to divest its holding in media group, APN News & Media. That is in spite of claims by INM CEO, Gavin O'Reilly, that his firm is "committed" to its shareholding in APN for the long-term. In late May 2009, APN announced a $A99m capital raising that will lower INM's stake to between 32.2 per cent and 33.3 per cent.
