May 25, 2009 (AFR Smart Investor - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Nick Pashias, of Aviva Investors, reveals that 80 per cent of the Aviva Investors Elite Opportunities Fund is invested in blue chips stocks and 20 per cent in short-term stocks used for trading. Stocks are selected using a bottom-up approach. Pashias says Wesfarmers, Telstra, Origin Energy and the banks are among the long-term stocks. He anticipates a return to more traditional types of funds.
