Police 'leak' as Purana moves to smash drug ring.

May 26, 2009 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A 50-year-old policeman, who serves at a Melbourne metropolitan station, has been suspended without pay after an information "leak". The acting senior sergeant has been charged with perverting the course of public justice. That follows the leaking of information on the day detectives with the Purana taskforce against organised crime claimed to have broken a drug ring.
