Jun 01, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Construction, Forestry, Mining & Energy Union (CFMEU) has threatened to launch wildcat strikes in response to the New South Wales Government's plan to water down its industrial safety laws. CFMEU acting state secretary, Mal Tulloch, said workplace safety was a "line in the sand issue for trade unions".
