Call for copyright overhaul.

Jun 04, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Harvard University lecturer and intellectual property expert Lawrence Lessig argues that copyright lawyers are often too restrictive in their approach to new technologies, especially the electronic dissemination of media. He helped establish the "creative commons" movement, and cites the recent example of US publishers using legal means to stop Amazon adding text-to-speech capability to the Kindle e-books device.
