No veto on CanWest sale of Ten.

Australasian Business Intelligence, June, 2009

Byline: Jamie Freed

Jun 04, 2009 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The conditions imposed by its lenders mean Canadian group CanWest cannot sell any assets without consultation, except for the stake of 57% it has in Australian free-to-air TV provider Ten Network. This has given rise to renewed speculation the holding will be divested, especially as Ten's stock has improved by about two thirds between March and June 2009.
