Traders step up shop hour fight.

Jun 16, 2009 (The West Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Western Australian Government's plan to introduce weeknight trading is opposed by small business. Newspaper advertisements from 16 June 2009 will begin a protest campaign. John Cummings, president of the Independent Grocers' Association, said that the Government has ignored the result of the 2005 referendum on the deregulation of retail trading hours.
