Jun 17, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Following the vote against the planned Australian Business Investment Partnership's creation in the senate, the commercial real estate development industry still has some hope that the joint venture between the Federal Government and four major banks will be salvaged. The scheme is designed to enable borrowers to access financing if overseas banks withdraw from the local market due to the global financial crisis.
