Jun 21, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- There are indications that Australia's prestige property market is recovering. Australian Property Monitors reports that the median price for houses in the upper 30 per cent of the market strengthened slightly in Hobart, Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne in the April 2009 quarter. Agent John McGrath says auctions of $A1 million-plus Sydney properties are often stronger than anticipated.
