Jun 21, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- It is forecast the current review of taxation led by Treasury secretary Ken Henry will suggest a cut to the corporate tax rate of only minor proportions, and following strong opposition by both investors and Treasurer Wayne Swan, abandon moves to ban the practice of dividend imputation. A conference bringing together a number of major tax experts was staged by the review panel in mid-June 2009.
