Wesfarmers tipped as demerger candidate.

Jun 22, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Some analysts suggest that Wesfarmers should consider following the example of CSR and spin off some assets. Merrill Lynch says this could allow some of the Perth-based conglomerate's businesses to realise their "full potential". Theo Maas of Fortis Investment Partners says Foster's Group could also look at the option of a demerger rather than simply selling its wine division.
