Drug's heart attack risk findings 'flawed'.

Jun 22, 2009 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Pharmaceutical company, Merck, has argued that conclusions about the risk of anti-arthritis drug Vioxx were flawed. Cardiologists told the Federal Court that the risk of the lead claimant having a heart attack was doubled by taking Vioxx. Merck's lawyer said that this ignored the claimant's other significant risk factors.
