Jun 22, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has defended its criminal prosecution of businessman Richard Pratt, now deceased, in cartel matter. A Senate estimates hearing has raised allegations against the watchdog that it breached its own guidelines in bringing the court action.
