Tax windfall for banks in Amex win.

Jun 22, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A Federal Court decision on whether goods and services tax should be payable on late fees for credit cards has gone against the Australian Taxation Office, meaning American Express will gain refunds that for the overall banking and financials sector may rise to some $A100m.
