The emphasis on quality within the distribution channel continues to grow. First came ISO 9000, then the QS-9000 automotive standard, and now we have the AS-9000 aerospace industry quality initiative.
AS-9000 is the new standard for the aerospace industry, and represents an enhanced version of ISO 9001. Both quality measures provide a tangible structure and tool for continuous improvement of processes and service quality.
