Will your customers be closing on more deals online as opposed to in front of your sales force? A recent survey conducted by Thomas Register and Visa U.S.A. indicates that 55 percent of industrial purchasers expect to increase purchases via the Internet during the course of the coming year.
Of the 3,000 individuals surveyed, many are making purchases more frequently, with nearly 40 percent buying online at least once a week. In addition, companies are spending more money on their Internet purchases, with over a quarter of those surveyed buying between $1,000 and $10,000 worth of products per month online.
