PHOENIX, ARIZ. -- Avnet Applied Computing, an operating group of electronics distributor Avnet, Inc., opened a Technology Showroom in Peabody, Mass. This showcase is similar to one opened in Phoenix, Ariz., in December 2000. This showcase is attached to an electronics lab. It was developed as a way of helping OEMs produce better prototypes and to reduce the time to market.
AAC's successful results in electronics may provide an example for other technical distribution markets.
