STANDARDIZING electronic communication is one of the hottest topics in business today, according to standards experts. Transactional methods, both internal and through the Internet, and all kinds of printed and wireless standards are being debated by committees around the globe. The Uniform Code Council, long known for its development of the now-ubiquitous barcode trading system, launched a new division this year.
