MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO -- Rockwell Automation's new dial-in Ethernet modem expands remote connectivity to control systems beyond that of standard serial modems by enabling access to the entire Ethernet network, rather than a single device. As manufacturers continue to standardize on faster, open Ethernet networks, the use of Ethernet modems for remote dial-in capabilities will expand their ability to capture real-time production and equipment status information.
