15 Logos Reach 100-Year Mark.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has identified 15 trademarks that reach 100 years of use this year, including some of the most familiar to U.S. consumers. The widely recognized logos for Nabisco's Cream of Wheat, General Electric, Carnation condensed milk and Pabst Milwaukee Blue Ribbon Beer are among the group.

The USPTO noted that the oldest U.S. trademark among the 1 million in use today was registered May 27, 1884 for what is now Samson Ocean Systems, Ferndale, WA, a manufacturer of engineered rope systems for the offshore oil industry.

Following is a partial list of products featuring 100-year-old logos, with product type and current owner:
