Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Co. announced record earnings per share on higher sales and earnings for the company's first quarter, ended Sept. 30. The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based manufacturer and distributor of shelving products, drawer slides and ergonomic office products posted its third consecutive quarter of improved sales and earnings, marked by a 9.3% increase in earnings per share, and a 3.6% increase in net sales.
The company posted sales of $37 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2001 compared with sales of $35.7 million during the same period in fiscal 2000.
