After more than a year of talks, German automaker BMW has signed an agreement with Toyota Motor Corp. (News Briefs).

After more than a year of talks, German automaker BMW has signed an agreement with Toyota Motor Corp. under which the Japanese automaker will supply diesel engines for BMW's new Mini Cooper automobile. The agreement calls for Toyota to deliver as many as 20,000 engines per year, starting in 2003.
