ISO may consider international standards for corporate responsibility. (Industry Newsline).

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) announced that its Committee for Consumer Policy has recommended it explore the need for developing international standards for corporate responsibility. The recommendation is based on discussions held at a June ISO workshop, attended by representatives from business, industry, consumer organizations and other standards groups from around the world.
According to ISO, the committee's view was that standards addressing corporate responsibility to business practices, consumers, employees and local communities, would be beneficial.
