Great Eagle Hotels International, Hong Kong, now will operate under the name Langham Hotels International Limited (LHI), reflecting the company's ownership of the Langham Hilton in London. The name change is in line with the company's efforts to position itself as the operator of "renowned and prominent" hotels across the globe.

"We have been pleased by the almost immediate contacts received by my office within 48 hours of the announcement from three like-minded owners keen to review the alternatives that LHI might offer them," says Kevin Murphy, vice president of marketing and development, LHI.
