COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO John Q. Hammons will develop and manage a 10-story, 320-room Renaissance Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The hotel will provide 80,000 sq. ft. (7,432 sq. m) of meeting space, including a 40,000-sq. ft. (3,716-sq. m) ballroom with a view of Pikes Peak.

Scheduled to open in the spring of 2009, the hotel site is part of a planned regional shopping center that will feature 800,000 sq. ft. (74,322 sq. m) of retail space and a mix of restaurants.
