Yokogawa wins contract for oil movement system.(SUPPLIER NEWS)

Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced that Yokogawa System Center Europe has been awarded a lump sum contract by the Netherlands Refining Company (Nerefco) in Europort, The Netherlands, to replace the current off-site control system with a fit-for-purpose system. With the capacity for handling 50 million tons of oil products per year, Nerefco's oil'-site facilities are key to supporting plant operations and trading activities. This contract is for the development, configuration, and startup of an off-site control system that includes a distributed control system, safeguarding, fire and gas detection, oil movement management, planning support, and truck/railcar terminal automation system.
