EtherNet/IP switch from Contemporary Controls offers full-duplex capability on all ports, IGMP snooping, port mirroring, VLSN, auto-negotiation and manually configurable speed/duplex, wire-speed switching fabric, SNMP for switch management and IEEE 802.1D Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) for controlling networks. IGMP snooping reduces multicast traffic by filtering it to only the appropriate group of end-devices in the network, allowing data to be sent to the correct destination.
