SAN FRANCISCO -- Myron Ullman III, the former chairman and ceo of Macy's and now the group managing director of luxury products group LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton and the chairman of DFS Group Limited, a leading retailer to the international traveler, has been succeeded by Edward Brennan as chairman of DFS.
Ullman was chairman and ceo of R.H. Macy & Co. when he announced that he was leaving in January 1995 to join DFS, right after the transition period following the company's merger with Federated Department Stores. He joined Macy's in 1988, became cochairman and co-ceo in 1992 and then sole chairman and ceo in 1993.
