NEW YORK -- Mary Markman has been promoted to executive vp, gmm, home division of Macy's East succeeding Eric Salus, who was promoted to president of The Bon Marche in May. Both are units of Federated Department Stores. Markman, most recently was senior vp, textiles, housewares, luggage and candy, reports to Hal Kahn, chairman and ceo of Macy's East.
There are four vp/dmms reporting to her: Stephen Binkley, textiles, Priscilla Cipollini, tabletop and trim a tree, Micheline Maniglia, housewares, luggage and candy and Patrick McHugh, housewares, marketplace.
