Los Angeles -- MGM Consumer Products and Interactive has named Canadian-based entertainment and licensing company Cookie Jar Entertainment the exclusive agent for all Pink Panther licensing initiatives in Canada. Cookie Jar will leverage the feature film release "The Pink Panther" as a catalyst for reintroducing the brand to Canada.
Cookie Jar's first priority includes targeting the fashion marketplace, with emphasis on products for tween and teen girls, as well as young adult women. Fame Jeans is already on board as a confirmed licensee. In addition to fashion, other areas of emphasis include the accessory, footwear, stationery and gifts categories.
