In response to requests from loyal customers, J.Crew has launched a children's line, dubbed crewcuts. The clothing collection for boys and girls ages 2 to 8 is a playful take on the adult collection, with cashmere sweaters, sun-washed tees and dressier ensembles for special occasions. J.Crew briefly introduced the line in 2001 and offered a limited collection of sweaters for the 2005 holiday season.

Crewcuts mimics the adult line with the iconic J.Crew designs of washed patchwork madras, argyle, lightweight chino as well as animal embroideries and kid-friendly graphics.
