Aminogen: The Protein-Processing Powerhouse. (Consumer Advisor).

Aminogen is a registered trademark (U.S. Patent No. 5-387-422) ingredient of Triarco Industries, Wayne, N.J. It is a fungal protease derived from the aspergillis niger, from which the plant enzyme system was patented.

According to Triarco, Aminogen helps the body naturally liberate amino acids from food protein, thereby enhancing the body's protein-absorption process. It does this by seeking out protein molecules and breaking the peptide bonds that attach amino acids to protein molecules -- making it easier for the body to absorb the small protein molecule, rather than a large one.
